The KreaNord Conference is a important step in The Nordic Countries progression towards a position as a world leader in the creative industries. The KreaNord Conferences is a part of the KreaNord project. The projects mission is:
“KreaNord shall function as a cross sector hub for experiences, knowledge and development visions, which comprehends both business and cultural sectors. KreaNord shall aim at improved coordination between the Nordic countries, develop policy recommendations as well as initiate pan-Nordic development and profiling activities.”
The KreaNord Conference fills the gab from policy development (a green book) to implementation of policies. The Conference aims at distilling the developed policies within
• Entrepreneurialism and Creativity
• Growing Creative Businesses
• Building Creative Clusters
• Building Creative Places
Through the conference suggested policies within these key themes must be mapped for barriers and possibilities for implementation.
