Unleasing the potential of the Nordic region's creative industries
KreaNord is an important initiative in improving the framework conditions of the creative industries in the Nordic countries and in strengthening the Nordic region’s position as a creative region. The aim of the conference is to further collaboration between the different initiatives of the Nordic countries and to establish a forum for debate and exchange. The focus is on three policy-initiatives:

  • Promote strategic collaboration and exchanges within the Nordic cultural and creative industries and with other sectors for value creation, innovation and growth
  • Promote new opportunities for access to global markets, financing, and attraction of foreign investments for the Nordic cultural and creative industries
  • Promote culture and creativity in Nordic education at all levels and promote entrepreneurialism and business skills in cultural and artistic education

Debate and network
Get an opportunity to debate and network with the speakers of the conference and its approximately 300 participants including politicians and government officials from the Nordic Region’s Ministries of Culture and Ministries of Economic and Business Affairs, business and industry organizations, and key figures from the creative industries. In addition, the Nordic Ministers of Economic and Business Affairs and Ministers of Culture are invited to participate in the conference.

Participants
The conference brings together people from the forefront of the creative industries, the educational system, and policy makers of the Nordic countries for a day of discussion and key note speeches. A day that will result in concrete recommendations for the broader implementation of the three Nordic policy initiatives. Among others you will meet:

”Creative Business Dating”
In the evening the conference continue at Copenhagen City Hall 18.30-21.30. Have the chance to network and dinner with the speakers and other participants of the conference. The agenda is creativity, experiencing and networking.
