High Quality Live Sound

Backstage and Roskilde Festival in cooperation with Danish Sound Technology Network invite you to an exciting day focusing on high quality live sound at Roskilde Festival 2012.

Get insights into the methods of measurement, both physical-objective measurements and the measurement of perceived quality of sound - as perceived ​​by both experts and ordinary listeners. Come and join us when we for the first time test a method based on a mobile APP with the audience as participants.

 

Among others you will meet:

Carsten Borg, Director Embedded Systems Oticon. The last 4 years, Oticon has measured sound levels at concerts at Roskilde.  

Jan Voetmann, Acoustician for more than 40 years, Delta. Delta has performed a series of measurements of both physical/objective sound quality including percieved sound quality at Roskilde Festival. Furthermore they have measured various Danish venues with very different PA systems.

Backstage High Quality Live Sound takes place at Roskilde Festival and Roskilde Business College on the 5. July. The Price is DKK 2350 incl. Fees /VAT and incl. access to Roskilde Festival Thursday 5. July.

After the event there will be rich opportunity to network with other professionals in Backstage Village (restricted area) or enjoy the many bands playing at Roskilde Festival 2012.
